If you are fed up with crowds when visiting National Trust properties, then consider a visit to Rosedene in Worcestershire. Whereas some properties have hundreds of thousands of visitors per year, humble Rosedene has recorded less than 100.
It is described as a red-brick cottage remaining largely unchanged since it was first occupied by early Chartists. Chartists campaigned for political rights in the early 19th century.
What to do and Facilities
It is on the small size, allow an hour, not a full day to get round. Don’t plan on visiting for afternoon tea, toilets are the only listed facility! Plan ahead as opening times are limited.
